    Im sure the best producing dogs are hard if your alot lads when getin services its nearly always a hard type dog they go for fair enough some might stupid for taken the ateings they do but its that drive that makes alot of them decent producers of pups.

    We all like the hard dogs ha i only the pleasure of owning 2 a bitch that i lost ta ground at 5 and a dog getn old and grey out in the yard he deserves a good retirement with all good days he gave me. Iv had plenty in the last few years that started of hard but soon became backfill.

    A mate of mine bred a litter of first cross border patterdales a few year back a couple of dogs went right well of it and one of the dogs has gone and produced a few decent workers when bred back in to other patterdale bitchs.
