Just wondering if anyone one here could share any knowledge on the dogs you see in tribe documentarys used for hunting and for guarding villages and live stock. quite often they seem to be some sort of lurcher are these ancient breeds of some kind or random Mongols that have been traded in the past an have bred . If some of these tribes have only just come into contact with outside humans in the last 100 years but have had dogs for many years before are they ancien breeds thats DNA could be traced back to ancient drawings. I'm not much of a reader but while I was ordering some Christmas pressents offline saw this book called. The last of the English poachers by bob and Brian tovey. I started reading it an realy good in my opinion an it only cost 2.45 on amazon for paper back so if your after a cheap but good Christmas present i recommend it . Is there any good hunting. Or fishing Related pressents you can recommend for under 20 quid

If you've got enough land have a woodland zoo with a walk through the woods with different animals in different sections nothing crazy like lions I'm on about peacocks and stuff like that. Then when its Christmas fill the trees with lights and decorations so family's can walk through at night.At Halloween have a walk were actors dressed as zombies chase you through the woods

I thought you could hunt the grey one's. what if your just using a dog to tree the squirrel and identify which tree has a squirrel in for the hunter to shoot on private property like in the videos. would that still be illegal

Already taken it to the vets they just said they couldn't see any thing wrong with it and that he make have stud on a sharp stone so I don't really know ill just keep an eye on him I was just worrying. About it developing into something when he gets abit older thanks for the advice anyway

Thanks for the advice guys I think this is defiantly the way we want to go with our next dog as our last dog was a westie a family pet died at the age of 15 a couple of months ago even tho she was not a worker an just a lapdog when she was sitting next to me on the sofa I always felt sorry for her because she did not get the chance to try ratting even tho she may not of been any good she probably would of had a lot fun trying were still not to sure on what to get we will probable go for a jrt tho
