    LOL Thanks Morton. I've got dogs!! I don't particulary want to learn, I just enjoy the subject in the same way that someone might enjoy driving and watching top gear, or shagging and reading 50 shades!

    Hi All. I enjoy listening to podcasts when I'm out walking or driving to work, but I can't find anything decent on working dogs. All the dog related stuff I can find is a bit "nice" for want of a better word. Any thoughts? On hunting generally, the meateater podcast is great, but I'm looking for something dog focussed. Cheers.

    No detail on lines, both parent were workers, rough coated and slightly lighter brown, so she's thrown back to something broken coated and darker somewhere along the lines!

    Id like to know a bit more about the breed in general; origins, use, temperament, what to look for when selecting dogs etc. of course plenty of pics will help!

    Hi all, new to the forum and I'm trying to trace the breeding of my dog. I know the dam but I'm told the sire is from a Jason Powell bitch to a Dave Finley dog. The resulting dog being a rough coated chocolate dog that ended up in the north east, probably County Durham. Given the propensity of people to throw these names about to increase the price of the dog (although I wasn't told until after I'd paid and picked her up) I wondered if anyone knew if such a pairing had ever happened. I know that Jason doesn't sell bitches, so I'm guessing if it did happen then someone on here would know.

    Got a liver patt pup, 10 months now. Keen as mustard and boundless energy, great girl. Bought her as I'd seen the mother work, the father was apparently of good lines and the breeder quoted all the right names, but I never saw the dog so I wouldn't guarantee it. I'd post a pic, but I don't have a clue how!
