To be honest folks I thought it was complete shite IMO letting a sighthound run towards a wire sheep fence repeatedly is an accident waiting to happen if I heard "he really wants this rabbit" once more I'd have f****d the telly out the window !

Ditch I knew you wouldn't be able to resist a reply ! I admit I did see the lighter side of it and couldn't resist a smile at the look on the dogs faces, I'll have to get down to business now though. I reckon they're coming from a garden 3 doors away it's a rented property and let's just say they're not the cleanest of tennants. I reckon that as they don't have any pets/kids it would be okay for me to put a little poison down in a few likely spots , I would ask them for permission but unfortunately I don't speak/understand whatever lingo they spout ! Had a moan from a neighbour about seeing a rat at the back of her garden during the week so I ran the ferrets through the ditch last night to see if anything popped it's head up thankfully nothing showed. It played on my mind last nite so this morning set up the live trap baited with a few dog nuts and smeared with peanut butter on the ditch where the two houses meet. Three hours later I'm on the phone when said neighbour is banging on my front door so I just give her the "two minutes" sign and point to the phone. She keeps knocking !!! I hang up and swing open the door about to begin a tirade

Frank it's a sad f****n' society we live in isn't it ? People have no respect for their animals at all , we took in a staffie a while back that was nowt but skin and bone and crouched every time I approached her, some gutless b*****d had obvouisly been giving her a good kickin' . You should see her now lovely dog great with kids,ferrets & other dogs and wags her tail every time you come in. Doesn't take a lot does it ? Feed em,water em look after em and they'll give it back 100 times over .

Got home from work yesterday to find a little package waiting for me from "Strong stuff", I'd read a few good reports on his wares on this and other sites and as I was unable to find what I was looking for locally I decided to give him a go. I AM VERY F@#KING IMPRESSED INDEED . I ordered a collar for a terrier, harness for a staffie & four slip leads and after a few e-mails regarding sizes, colours , price etc. I had them within five days taking into account the shite postal service in our area this is impressive . As the name suggests "stong stuff" is just that good quality strong product

14 1/2 inches at the withers , she's still a pup at 11 months so she still has that scrawny look about her . All going well she'll fill out a bit before too long .

Just got in from an hours mouch with the lamp, feck all about really was nice and dark but not a puff so they were all right beside the ditches. Got 2 out of 4 slips.Lurcher took the only squatter of the night nice course and took it just as it was getting near the ditch.Russell took the second one slipped her on a bunny about six feet from the ditch and surprise surprise she pushed it along the ditch and when he tried to cut back in to cover she nailed him so smiles all round . My eldest with her jill "fifi" , well handled (about 50 times a day) and now her friends are coming round for a look at these exotic animals maybe i should start charging !
