How can it be called bushing when nothing actually goes in a bush lol ? Dont use a pack of terriers either use one or two terriers unless theres a few out on similar type ground to that sometimes little patches of gorse rocky dead ground. Its like turning upto a warren with 10 shit ferrets theyll still bolt rabbits but they aint doing the job of two good ferrets are they thats the way i look at it anyway. good luck to them but to me it aint bushing its hunting with a pack of dogs and cant be compared to the sort of thing were doing imo

I used to have a dog some will remember my old brindle dog he had a real knack of killing in the dark and in lakes at the time i just took it for what it was but ive not seen anything since that killed quite as much with no lamp or light at all. Near where i take the dogs in summer theres a big church yard all fenced in with a big seed field next to it i walk down the seed feild most evenings my brindle dog used to somehow get in the church and be nailing muntjac so id here the scream be trying to chuck whatever else is with me on a lead before they run up and down the perimeter fence like di

Havent bred any ferrets for years but will do this year got a real good producer of a bitch ferret n a small dog ferret really looking forward to getting em on groubd but dog ferrets 6/7 year old never been bred will he be able to do it ?

For the nail beds potassium permagnate is brilliant in my opinion i wouldnt get through a season without it.

There job is steadily working stuff to standing rifles no ? some wearing bells and casting out causing enough disturbance to make stuff vacate the area but not at speed with the odd dog getting a mouthful of wounded or dead stuff ? If thats how they do it good luck to them but to me that aint bushing theres no hunts in cover or what not its just numbers of dogs putting abit of pressure on things and pushing them about bushing to me is small dogs hunting hard and killing in and out the bushes.

Not done too much this year but i do normally do alot of it and enjoy it. Got a bitch ferret she produved best ratter ive seen hopefully get some more young out of her this year. Nice to see terriers broken to ferrets not many are now
