Was 56 when my first grandchild came along had another one within a year and now they all live about 50 ft further along the pontoon to me so I see them every day take and collect them from school a couple of times a week have them sleep over most weeks and generally spend loads of time with them people get very boring as they get older so I enjoy my time with the little ones showing them stuff and doing things with them

I think that waiting till I was in my late 30s before I had a kid made me a much better parent and my missus says the same.We both enjoyed travelling in our 20s early 30s.We both liked a good party too and my missus was quite career driven.Im glad I spent plenty of time getting everything out of my system before I decided to become a parent.Always cracks me up when I see younger people pumping out kids and then constantly moaning how they get no time to themselves to go out and have fun or how they're struggling and don't get any support from anyone.

I have long been a massive fan of Zziplex beach rods linked to a multiplier reel but in September of last year I had a thought about a three piece rod as we were going on holiday to our favourite place in Suffolk but taking our guns, fresh water fishing gear and 7ft sections of beach rods seemed a bit too much and linked to this, I have been getting a few people coming for a casting lesson with these 3 piece rods. It's cheating though using a non native distance runner to catch a native sprinting animal, iv'e alway been more impressed by a normal regular lurcher taking a few over a season than these coursing line bred cheats killing dozens each week,lol..

Thing is it becomes a fine line....maybe it went down differently to how you described...but it sounded like you bullied the mother... It's a tuff one bringing up kids...you will defend them with your lives
