  1. Just had our old terrier PTS. She had started having mini strokes and it was getting to hard to see her struggling. She was taken off someone who wasn't looking after her and had been knocking her about. She ended up with a lad who did the terriers for one of the fell packs and did a season there. The lad retired and the old dog was sat on his yard, being well looked after but he had to many dogs without work.....so she came to us. She did a bit of ratting with me, but really, she became a spoilt fat lap dog. She would cower and shake if you moved a hand over her for the first year,

  4. Well something you guys don’t seem to bother with. Good old fashioned faggots. It must be one of our oldest dishes. I do my own herb mix which goes down well with the locals. Not only that but apple pies with my own pastry. Very nice guys.jok.

  9. Wee Monday off and away down the A1 to meet a couple of boys with their mutts, bit of a disaster I lost 2 Jill’s as they managed to escape the carrier and had about an hour to evade spent a bit time looking for them even with the thermal but to no avail, gutted, but lesson learned… the hard way. ended the day with 29 rabbits a few digs but most bolted to the long nets and dogs

  11. Thanks for the responses everybody.Lots of good names that I may use in the future.Ive been on the river all my life same as my dogs.So I would like to thank Mr eastcoast for his idea. When I took an interest in otter I read old books from the UK.The one man I aspired to be like was John Gallon The Otter Hunter King.He drowned in the River Lugar.I also remember reading stories of great hunts along the River Taw which I believe was rumored to produce very heavy otters 150 years ago.I couldn't find these places on a map but I reckon pups will be Lugar and Taw.

  19. I’m going to go off on a tangent here, but I’ll tell you who I f***ing loath……those Facebook vigilante so called Peado hunter groups……..absolute f***ing howling arseholes to a man ! All I ever see is them bullying the life out of some poor c**t with an intellectual disability who probably has a mental age of ten……6 handed giving it the heavy bit with a spastic….amazing ! f***ing hate those people ! If they have evidence, send it to the law and that’s it……narcissistic pricks !

  20. what is a good dog ? i think it’s when you have one that your out with multiple times a week and in the full season you can count on one hand the times you have blanked one that misses very few things even the hard ones no dog has a right to stop you can let it off day or pitch black and it will come back with something

  23. Council tax bills going up and the national insurance rise for employers especially small businesses is going to do more harm than good and imho will see a rise in self employment job's that some who work for middle men will be a lot worse off.

  24. Just skipped through that earlier Drifter! I was straight on Google earth and successfully located the pitch! Steady 4 hrs drive from where I am though so thinking about an easy beach camp and then into the Cheviots for a proper yomp and camp. It would make the trip worthwhile then I reckon!

  25. He's a c**t. Like most youths of today. Would much rather sit on his arse. Had a paper round f****d that off. Had a good thing going with my sister 50 quid a week walking her dogs. 20 mins a day at 12 year old. Couldn't be bothered. So yeah what's the world coming to blacky. I had a milk round , paper round. Helped local farmer moving all bales in the summer month. Kids want for f**k all these days. On computers like drips.

  27. I think they genuinely see themselves as some type of Steven Segal-esque shadow warriors ! The fact they then have to go team handed and bully the life out of some poor c**t who should probably be in some type of state care (if it existed for indigenous people !) tells you everything about them……torturing someone who obviously has a severe disability is every bit as bad as grooming kids imho. They should be asking why their isn’t state provision for these people

  37. When someone says something is the “best in the world” you can usually bet it isn’t ! Im one of the least breed blind in the game, I’ve seen all types of pures and crosses do very well, from beddy types right through to deerhound crosses. Probably the best “all rounder “, ( yes, I know this term means different things to different people), was Bruce the rescue dog, and the only thing we know about him is that his dam was a greyhound. As I obviously haven’t seen every running dog, there would most likely have been even better dogs than him, so it’s best to keep an open mind when

  38. No problem people think they can use any bedlington over any greyhound most working bedlington have an outcross in they’re make up especially if they’re not light blue/liver/or liver and blue if you want genuine first x stay away from black and chocolates atb

  39. She's my favourite,by far the smallest but I really like her, just wormed them out again for the 4th time, never seen anything whatsoever in any of them since the moment they were born,I'll do them again once more before they leave & jab them up for parvovirus/distemper unless their new owners would prefer to go have it done at the vets..very happy with all of them, lovely pups they are, can't fault their dam Rose, she's done an amazing job with them.

  41. Thanks mate, I really appreciate that. The pics I take only go to a few mates and then on here so it's good to know the effort is worth while. If you fancy getting out you really should do it whilst you can. Maybe look into getting some gear together here and there over the winter, spread it out to take the sting out of it and you could be ready to go next spring. Definitely a great thing for mental health.. gives you a nice little reset I think and we all spend way too many hours, days and nights sat in our houses watching crap on the magic box that we will have forgotten all about by tomorro
