Just got back from a 4 day trip to the fraser river in BC. Sturgeon fishing was pretty slow overall but my son and mate both had pb's (son got an 8ft3in and my mate a 7ft 6"). Salmon fishing was better than usual and we had coho every morning (used for bait) and a chinook.4 points

I'd gladly put aside all of my racial prejudice, whilst I ragged that around the bedroom for a couple of hours3 points

That's just the type of stock that he came from . It was going to end one of two ways , prison , or a bullet , it just happened to be a coppers bullet. You could have written his story before it happened.3 points

It's Been a while since I did any barbel fishing ,braved the floods today and made the effort...lost what felt like a decent fish just as it was getting dark...recasted with fresh boilies on the hook and a small mesh bag of the same...10 mins later, almost lost my rod off the pod fish was in 4 m plus of flood water and was giving me the run around...snagged and locked me up for 15 mins managed to get it out after keeping the pressure on...fish kept taking run after run out into the mainflowwhen it went over the net I new it was special....6 Oz off the current record..few more weeks this fis3 points

Danger is my middle name ! Seriously did my homework and saddle and climbing sticks way to go. Never done anything like that before so I’m down canal half way up a tree wondering which is linesman belt or bridge belt or teather as they all the same colour, but sussed it and felt safe tbh. Will practice a lot more. Am just spraying one of the climbing sticks now in garage in camo . coz thinking I can set my platform up at dusk and leave it. But just take the first climbing stick down and leave rest and platform up there . That way no one can nick it . But I can get it up up real quick in dark b2 points

Reason for a saddle , less bulk to carry and easier to conceal if needed . Actually more comfy than what I thought. Need knee pads or a tree cushion I think . Got a gear/camera hanger coming and some scent wafers and nose jammer . Also a 2 step hang n bang aider so hopefully I can start first climbing stick high up . Am all over this lol2 points

My preferred bait these are big ones though bout 5 inches or more. All I use if I can. You can’t beat them and dodge the bloody schoolies and flounders. Bass tend to be 3lb and up on average2 points

Popped out again this evening and the weathers cooled right down, wasn’t many rabbits about but I managed two shots two kills, I caught a fox through my scope stalking a pheasant which there seemed to be plenty of, and not particularly good pictures but there was a load of what looked like Canadian Geese but could well be Siberian geese who pay a visit this time of year to feed on the eel grass in the Thames estuary.2 points
