Managed to get out last night for camp by myself. Up on Derwent edge.. 3 mile walk I'm. Found a nice little pitch tucked away by some rocks to keep the very strong north easterly off me! They'd forecast full sun but didn't i much of it!!

Not been on here much last 2-3 years after my springer x lurcher passed. She got a pellet or something in her lung when we were out and died due to a collapsed lung at the vets. It impacted me quite badly to point of not even walking for more than 30 minutes in the woods when out with my other old little lurcher….(for the last 2 plus years). Anyway, my catapult is helping me get back out in the woods for longer periods which is a great thing. I’ve even thought about getting another mooching dog in next year or two. So I’m back on here to ask which bands you are shooting/recommend. I’m on

Out this morning getting the chassis on blocks and levelled. Then lifted the floor into the frame, got that squared and level and all bolted together……enlisted the help of the big idiot son, save him spending the day pulling the stomach out of himself ! Lol The daughter was just surveying while poor dad did himself in, she in her jamas earning a grand and dad is working for f**k all ! Lol
