Was reading about it earlier, they were warned that a ban would decimate the fox population but it was never about welfare so they never gave a fck7 points

That’s a big fault for me some people don’t care but I couldn’t have a dog that can run but is a nightmare to live with, got to be able to work as a team with the dog. To be fair I’ve always found the nervy ones never make much good anyway you’ll get odd exception but not many4 points

Had a nice walk yesterday not far from the beach. Just off the pathways so we had the path the majority off the time to ourselves.4 points

Pups coming along well . Fitted in well with the other dogs and responding well to her training . Just been concentrating on livestock training and environmental exposure. Not got any complaints about her so far , finding her much the same as any other dog I’ve had . Probably change as she matures but a very easy keeper so far4 points

Plenty of right wingers oppose the monarchy. There's a clip on GB news on YouTube showing right winger John Clees pissing himself laughing at the coronation. He's not the only right winger who thinks this way. But I accept more leftists oppose the monarchy than the right. Personally, I believe if certain people want to ogle at the Windsors then let them. But I resent the principle that we have to pay for it. That's a real twist of the dagger for me. The words 'left winger' have been twisted by the right wing media to primarily mean LGBT people, environment campaigners sabs and God3 points

None of its rocket science really, it’s just about taking all control, let country people deal with country matters and if we did we would not need a badger cull , or marksmen shooting piles of pigs, hares and deer etc governments react in a knee jerk way constantly swinging from one extreme to another instead of finding a happy medium, it’s how they remain in power, if everyone was happy and living there best life we would soon realise how much we don’t need them so never expect common sense to prevail3 points

From your perspective why do you feel it’s a pointless cross ? If they guys that breed them feel they can do a job then why not ! I believe their days as a field dog is well over but who am I to judge what people keep/do, I find it interesting there being used on boar and seem to be doing well .3 points

My family originate from carlow in Ireland they used to have the greyhounds that weren't up to what was expected any way most of these dogs turned out decent hare dogs and would regularly fill the pot for the family different times then though, but 1st time I saw a straight greyhound ran I was more then shocked at the drive it had and obviously the speed and her eye sight was amazing spotting things the other dogs hadn't decent little bitch she was my mate paid 50 for her as a pup3 points

I never boiled the heads just fed raw, there wouldn't be a tooth left, rabbits raw as well sometimes with the fur on sometimes off but always with the guts out.3 points

How times change regarding feeding I can remember waiting for the sheep heads boiling along with wessels and throttles in the yard old lass wouldn't have it cooked in the house because of the smell then letting it cool down so we got the thick white crust and jelly and being sent down the local fish market as a kid a few times a week collecting heads to go through the mincer and all the blood from the bottom of the tray then the old girl saving any kitchen scraps plus any thing deemed unsuitable for humans from the slaughter house we had unlimited supply of green tripe and bunnys3 points

I'd love a wild open country and a free for all.....but it ain't ever coming back in that form. I've seen land managed by coursing clubs destroyed by poachers and land that teemed with hares become devoid after the ban. I'm not going down the argument route.... I couldn't give a fck anymore, spent my life defending all fieldsports, often defending them from other fieldsports people ? Same as the nationalist cause....doomed from within2 points

Lived in the same street as Beardsley when we were younger. He always was a mile ahead of the rest in skill as a kid. I saw him in a Marie Currie hospice a couple of years ago, he was handing out kit, having selfies and chatting with the terminally ill, I asked a nurse if it was a one off, she said no, he was a regular. “Beauty is only skin deep”, eh? Cheers.2 points
