  7. When I was a youngster out with my Lurcher , I had an old motorbike battery and car headlight torch . I used to spot a pair of eyes , lamp off , check the wind and make off over the field to close the gap . Lurcher running the beam and a woodcock gets up . I wish I had a pound for every time that happened. ?

  8. I had a memorable day on the bank on Sunday. This included torrential rain ,thunder and really spectacular lightening but it also had me engaged in an impromptu species hunt . No matter how badly l fished l still caught things . The fish were indeed in a charitable mood . The single out of Season trout really shouldn't be included in the legitimate catch list but it brought my total to eleven different sorts of fish . All from the same swim too. Minnows , gudgeon ,perch, small bream, roach and chublings ,a grayling and a really cute baby barbel all came to say hello .

  12. It’s called “ Sod’s law” over here . It’s why I always used to carry two rifles or a rifle and shotgun . But if you are on foot it’s not possible. And I could guarantee the day I went out without a gun I would see a fox standing broadside at perfect range.

I’ve been to India and seen how the caste system works I was sitting in a bar called Zappas bar apparently years ago the great man himself visited hence the name, any way I was on full on people watching mode and there was a table with some Bollywood so-called stars on it from Mumbai and the conversation was all the great places they had all been to it was like the Monty python’s sketch about poverty but in reverse, this poor young waiter came out with the drinks and ice and they complained that the ice was the wrong size and shape and sent him back to get more this happened about three times

  15. " conspiracy nuts " aint too bad all things considered.....back in the 80's/90's we was called " knuckle dragging scumbags " in London for trying to warn people that we'd end up with paki's in positions of power !

A terrified farm cat has been launched into outer space from Ireland. The nation is horrified. Garda are looking for an Englishman with a ruddy complexion who is believed to utter racist oaths in a Landan accent. He may be suffering from Tourettes.

I then suspected infidelity, and being old fashioned, I took pleasure in ruining their evening . It’s called in Latin “ coitus interruptus “ .??

  24. To be honest I don’t know what they sell for. I saw some at Stafford for £75 and they weren’t as nice as these. I have promised these two to a mate and his son. Another mate wants three. I have eight that haven’t coloured up yet so I don’t know what there is amongst them but if there are four cocks you can have one with pleasure, I don’t want paying for them.

  28. I'm convinced corvids recognise a gun. If I'm on my regular daily checks I'll always have hmr or recently 12bore semi. If see corvid in range, then they wait until I stop quad then soon as I start to move they're off. Yesterday, out to check water pipe, (no gun) had a crow basically shadow me the whole time! I stopped...got off bike...even held up pretend gun....not bothered!! Proper sods law.

  29. There are fruit bats and attention seekers associated to every organisation. I worked amongst them for 25 years. As long as they are not the public face of that organisation then they are like the 'End is Nigh' blokes who used to wander around. People can take notice or not. What greb / griswald is trying to do is play both ends against the middle. If this guy is discredited then why is greb / griswald communicating with him on his phone? And why are his comments on greyman and the big cat group to be taken seriously when everything else he says is unbelievable? What this boils down to i

And if people are rubbishing his views on aliens and the like then why do they think that his views on other matters are credible?

  36. Can you imagine a THL “ jolly boys” safari? We could string Benbhoy up for leopard bait . Sausage dog would shoot a charging bull elephant with his muzzle loader , David Evans wouldn’t make it . And you and Foxdropper could single handed wipe out a few endangered species, in one night .Stavross would miss a Hippo at 10 meters . I think I will stay at home
