  1. In the 1980s we lost badger digging in the U.K., not because it served no useful purpose, but because of the irresponsible behaviour of a very small and unrepresentative minority of dog owners - I wouldn’t insult myself or others by calling them “terriermen”. Their very public action, callous unthinking and completely unacceptable behaviour, created a public perception of terrier work which made it almost impossible to defend. Northern Ireland has only recently fended off hostile legislation which sought to ban terrier work and in the main this was due to the efforts of the I.W.T.F. T

  6. Magoo, you need to come over here, it's been raining almost constantly for 2 years now. I'm ankle deep in wet clay. Your bog beasts would have a ball on the fallow and roos around here. My whippet has snapped it's four legs stuck in the shite and the terriers drowned, lol. I think our countries have swapped weather.

  7. Out tonight for a good long session. The longer evenings are already starting to seem like an eternity, with nothing but absolute crap on the Television . The ground has dried up a fair bit near me and I thought I’d drive the fields . We have Maize stubble still and cut silage and rye grass drilling , and also rape that was direct drilled into wheat stubble . So all nice and drivable , without causing any damage . I saw more deer tonight than I’ve seen in a long time . I have just acquired permission next to a traveler site with two biggish fields that must total 40 acres . I swu

  10. Thanks for the vote of confidence ? I don’t really want them ranging to far I’ve had enough of that with ignorant saluki crosses over the years, from what I’ve seen from these pups so far they seem a lot more intelligent than what I’ve heard people say about greyhounds over the years but time will tell, all I can do is try and give them the best start

  11. I wouldn't call it a bite......more a respectful reply ? These days all I want is an easy life and a few runs with the dogs, there'll be old timers on here who will tell you I bit more than a rabid Saluki and argued with everyone back in the day, but not now ? Good luck with the Greyhound pups, I'll follow their development with interest ? Cheers.

  12. One of the gundog lads had a family nearby who come for lessons, not farmers but had a small holding, few out buildingd and a shed with some collectable cars and a few gundogs. They got a Neo thinking it would protect the land, cars, kennels etc. Said one day, for what they saw was no reason at all, it just grabbed their toddler and started ragging her about like a terrier does to a rat. Luckily it was winter and she was wearing a thick puffed up coat. She got thrown out of the coat and the dad rushed her off to hospital as despite the coat it had broken her collar bon

  18. Honestly I'd avoid actually buying anything about Cabela's or bass pro and the like, alot of it is over priced Gucci gear. Nice to visit and look around but smaller shops are where it's at. I got freinds who live in New York I'll ask them about som places to check out. Your just going to be in the The city or you gonna be able travel around some ?

  40. My opinion it’s a shame after all this you still have the class arsehole trying to ruin everything it’s a good topic and in one of his many previous lives he actually claimed to like and know a lot about large felines, but turned out as usual to be all hot air and wind, backed up by Wikipedia much the same as many other keyboard warriors, the video is pretty decent, but as in many of these cases it would be great to get there quick and do the scaling of the animal and get any forensics from the carcass before it’s been touched grounds soft enough to find a pug mark or two etc ?

Because they were done at different times. The one he failed in August was kept hushed up and doesnt get reporter to the governing bodies. If he is innocent why didnt they ask for the B simple to be tested straight away to clear his name instead of waiting well over a month. My guess is Benn and matchroom were hoping they could keep it hushed up.

  44. I got into terrier work in the late 70's its been doom and gloom since, and there have always been knobheads in the game,i remember when people could first afford camcorders some right pricks filming stuff that has no place in the hunting field, these days its no different, this programme could of been far worst, with what people post on facebook and tik tock ? Terrier work is legal and when carried out responsible is the only humane way of controling a fox problem under ground

We all like to go on that we’re all a little bit layer cake in reality , there’s no other option than to walk on past , I’d have a hard time explaining to the other half why we wouldn’t be living like Kardashian’s from Darlington , dropping the kids off in a cayenne with her dressed like a Las Vegas escort , but in reality , i like living and more importantly being at home
