  1. The land owner where we shot the fox asked if i could do something about the hordes of canada geese that are flying into his fields everyday. They are trampling the grass, eating it and defacating everywhere. Anyhow i thought i would go this morning and take the mouse gun. Driving within range then shooting off the drivers mirror is the order of the day because they are used to vehicles. If you stop and get out they lift straight away. I will be back in a few days. Ther are plenty of Fallow about as well.

Believe it or not, I will be more than likely jumped on , but this Italian stops plenty rabbits, it had plenty of drive ,it’s crazy when it gets a scent but the same as last time this topic arose ,the conversation for me is over, I only put the pictures on cos some one asked what a bedlington x Italian looked like, I know what the dog is capable of and no he wasn’t bought as a working dog, he belongs to my wife but wanted to come out with the other dogs with me, he followed the cocker spaniel as it was bushing and soon picked up following him that something would be flushed.I have run dogs si

  8. My grandson kept asking for us to go foxing while he is off school so i decided to take him on Wednesday night. I knew there was a fox knocking about at one particular farm that i go to, so we went there. It didn't take long to spot it mooching along a double hedge . It was perhaps a couple of hundred yards away but cattle kept walking into the line of fire. I put the caller on to try to keep it in the vicinity whilst the cattle moved on. Luckily they did so just as it decided to come a little closer and sit on a big pile of hardcore which i use for zeroing. The 243 made short work of a dog fo

For the grace of god i'd say just about every man or woman on here were very lucky not to have been a parent before they were 20 years old and without sounding like i'm having a dig bud,how many times did you stop because you didn't have a rubber in your pocket?.. It isn't the lasses fault all the time but deffo education is the only way forward,...

  14. Had my first at 17,tried my best, but his mother took him and moved away? I met another girl, bought a house, settled down and it took us 7 yrs of trying until the next one came along...had 3 in 5 yrs then? Obviously we all been there, had a ride without a rubber...but that's just luck imo if you don't get caught out...these women and the men responsible can't have any self control/respect...when it's as easy as taking a f***ing pill to abort a life..instead of using protection..the only people who deserve the choice are rape/abuse victims or if it's a serious health risk to mother and baby

  17. Wind chimes, still wind chimes. When all this bollocks is over in the Ukraine and something else starts somewhere else, and parts of the the Ukraine have been levelled and left devoid of life, I would put good money on 1 sound still being heard in the Ukraine when the wind picks up, the sound of f***ing wind chimes!!!

  29. im in agreement about lugging a heavy gun about sd.. and if I ever burn this thing out ill be getting it re barrelled with a mid profile barrel! but until I get me shoulder fixed this ticks the boxes, I can't shoot freehand any more cos it just clunks and grinds when shouldered hence if I ever put a photo up theres always quad stix in the background... like you said a lot of foxs are taken between 40 and 100 yard but if theres a shot to be taken at about 250 I have full confidence ill drop what ever im shooting at. regarding gun snobbery.. you'd have to fight me to get me to p

  30. From a weapons product development point of view, it’s a perfect field test opportunity. If successful it’s a great story for sales and marketing. Despite left wing scoffs to the contrary, the UK is visibly front and centre on the world stage with supporting Ukraine. Standing by our obligations of the Budapest memorandum and standing by a nation we had deals with bolsters soft power. It makes other nations looking to align with a global power value the UK. If they enter a trade deal with us they are confident we will provide some muscle if things get a bit hot for them. If they are lookin

  32. Back in the days when the Exchange & Mart was the equivalent of the Internet for us older folk, it was easy to send birds, ferrets, dogs, etc, unaccompanied, by rail in the guards van. I don't know if it's still possible, or, indeed if trains still have guards or guards vans ! Cheers.
