Work today and tomorrow,back in on the 27 th...Mrs works Xmas day,so myself,the kids and a couple of dogs will be jumping in the motorhome on Xmas Eve,shooting off for the night spot of fishing..get back Xmas day evening and kids will open their presents with the wife ...f**k any silly covid restrictions??

Off this week mostly shooting the 1 million rabbits the farmer told me about when I dropped his bottle off ?, back into work Boxing Day night for a 12 hour shift hope it’s quieter than last year I had a one under which caught me by surprise, on that cheerful note Have a great Xmas with your families and a prosperous New Year.

Sorry lads, took it back. Hot sweats, disturbed sleep, I just could not settle. Something just didn't suit. The dealer, a friend was very sympathetic and let me loose in his armoury. It was then that I stopped picking up them up and over things and spied a little skb 200e 1/4 and half choked. As soon as I shouldered it it was a perfect fit. It feels petite compared to a chunk of girder and is nicer to carry. My friend said take it and try it. So I did. Now need to keep testing and try some steel in it but so far it feels just right.

Over the last 18 months or so I feel that i have really progressed as an angler; Im lucky enough to not only fish in a club with a high level of competition but also to actually fish with some very competent anglers and then I've also had alot of help and guidance from our own Arry. I spent the first half of the year chasing a spotted ray but unfortunately failed on that and then from august til now i have been targetting mainly smalleyes and thornbacks with the odd session hussing. Ive managed to fish some beautiful places and seen some really interesting things along the way and have managed

My son is bang into this ferreting lark he is 35 and only just starting but he is willing to learn so I will help him out as much as I can he is wanting to be out as much as possible so I picked him up at half 7 and headed off over the Dale we took two Jill's and a hob longnets plus the two labs we ended up with 12 good rabbits and one was black so he had his first black rabbit hopefully he will have a few more

For the moment i have put my Minox 3-15x56 on it. It's a bit much scope for it to be honest but it will enable me to zero and test which rounds (if any) it likes. It will also give me time to decide which scope i want to put on it and then i will buy one at a later date.

Took lad last two nights checking traps , don't realy normal use the body grips but dusted them off give them a try in spot where couple squirrel about ,
