A good friend of mine once got invited to a hare shoot down the country. Not my sort of thing as I preferred to run them or hunt them but each to his own. I forget where it was but in retrospect assume Sandringham Estate or somewhere in the surrounding area. Prince Philip was part of the shooting team. My friend said he was just 1 of the lads with no airs or graces. As it should be of course. I would never toff my cap to anyone nor would my friend. But odd in some ways that a council ground worker was walking and shooting shoulder to shoulder with the Duke of Edinbrugh. We have no say in what5 points

Always told lads if they try to stab a fox to help dog they'll be getting the knife not the fox. We've all done silly things when young in the game. Some stuff I regret deeply If a dog can't handle a fox it shouldn't be on them.4 points

Same as most veteran lurcher enthusiasts,..I've enjoyed walking out with many different running dog hybrids? Loved them all and had success,.. and of course,..failures with them all..? AS for trainability? Well, this is a curious affair and really depends upon one's requirements and concept,. of trainability.. Personally,..I like a jukel with plenty of smarts and which can understand my ways,...I've never needed a hunting pal that is super -inteligent.. Such canines are in the same league as some humans who posess amazing Mensa -like mental acumen, but are frequently useles4 points

We've got our little 'uns vegetarian mate staying over tonight so, I did them both quorn mince with tomatoes, red onion and chilli. .......... to be fair, it was quite nice - it's definitely not like regular mince though. It's softer, it cooks quicker and it soaks up more when cooking. It must have been ok - her mate's built like a broom handle and she ate it all. ......... I'll take that as a win3 points

My mum has done our tree back to the 1600s I think and it has been a proper hobby for her. I remember holidays as a kid travelling Yorkshire finding ancestors graves, sounds weird but better than sat on a beach getting burnt. I'm from a long line of shit shovellers and shrimpers basically ?3 points

Remember this lads it's not the seller of the pups who setting the bar of price it's the buyer same with most things these days I fly pigeons and the prices people pay in my eyes is ridiculous but hey if you wanna pay that kind of money that's all down to you I've give dogs away in the past only to find they've sold them on or dumped them or something so there's that side of it aswell each to there own I suppose3 points

He came to Britain as a refugee. Fought in major battles at sea, saved his ship, gave up a possible chance to become admiral for love. Helped start the wwf, played professional cricket, represented his country at polo, run top level sport, started the Duke of Edinburgh scheme. Legend, who did his duty. RIP2 points
