They probably wouldnt have killed a 3rd of the amount if they ran single handed.Its mad double up aterriers and youre a c**t and rightly so but doubling up 2 60/70lb bull cfosses seems to be acceptable for a lot of people.

Run a bolted rabbit with 2 dogs and get brilliant dogs and run cracking film etc lamp a fox with 2 dogs and get bitching funny old world

Doubling up on foxes is a load bollox and I don’t give a fcuk how many they were killing, if they were only killing a third of what they were with single dogs it would of been a whole lot better, most interesting part of the whole thing was the lad doing the calling.

posted on here 2 years ago, this was my pup of choice. my lab is now 4 years old, from working stock, leggy and has worked with a saluki x greyhound all his life. the saluki is now 11 years old. this year the lab will be crossed over a track greyhound. these animals are big and can be a handful, [ I owned one back in my youth in the 70s] I will post pics over the next couple of weeks. powerful, obedient, natural hunters. never catch a hare. but anything bigger is fare game. my black lab is also a brilliant watch-dog. good to be back on this forum .

Call me a selfish twat but good perms with loyal landowners are hard to come by. If its a close friend that your positive isnt going to sh*t on you then all well and good but i wouldnt be inviting people onto any of my perms that weren't like a brother to me pal. Also, if they turn out to be a dick and trample barbed wire fences etc or even invite other pals on that act up as well, it all comes back to you. I’ll give the lads credit for the amount they put away but not the way they did it.Doubling up has never been my thing or any lads I’ve ever hunted with. I’d rather kill 10 in a season with 1 dog than 10 in a night with 2. But that’s just me.

Are you a professional pest controller or keeper or shepherd that needs to kill stuff in numbers?If so youll get do better with a rifle.If not then surely it should be about the quality of the sport and actually seeing how good your dog actually is.Plenty of old shit can look brave when doubled up.

Some people like to take fox in there numbers me being one of them,I havnt seen any dog out there catching that many fox single handed in one night as them lads were putting away regular,so if you’re getting the numbers like them lads were with one dog I’d say you’ve got a master piece ??
