I once had an order for 45 pints, so I knocked on the door to check it was right. A woman answered and said "Yes it's right. Milk baths are good for the skin." I said "Do you want it pasteurised ?" She said "No, just enough to cover my tits !" (I'll get my coat.)12 points

I can answer one of your questions............ I used to work for a firm that did deliveries both to shop and to doorsteps. The milk arrived on the same lorries, from the same processing plant, so the freshness is the same. Mind you, I have wondered if it tastes different out of a glass bottle..........a bit like tea tasting different out of a china cup ? There's still doorsteps deliveries here, (he comes clinking up our road at stupid o'clock), which is a vital service to the elderly and housebound, when the nearest shop is 2 miles away.6 points

This year at Easter my wife and I rented a large holiday home so that all the kids and grandkids could spend a week together. There were 9 adults 5 kids and 2 dogs . Online the place looked fantastic, snooker room , bar , large dining room , different living rooms , on suite bedrooms. On arrival however the owner told us that the soil pipe was blocked and only one bathroom was in use . And being Easter the earliest it could be fixed was Tuesday after the bank holiday. He said “there you have it , are you staying or not?” We said that seeing as we have all traveled from all over the country and4 points

I’ve got a fox that is driving me nuts , I’ve seen it on several occasions but either not had a gun with me or it’s not stopped long enough to get a shot at it . But the last straw was this Saturday on shoot day . The last drive of the day was going to be a big finally. It’s a large Maize cover that has been stuffed all week. All the drives had gone well and I was not far off the bag so I was planning on blowing the horn early and pulling the beaters back . How wrong I was , the drive started and I was thinking where are the birds ? Then it came over the radio , “Charlie’s “ in there . I am g4 points

Anyone's kids still get milk at school ? I had it in tiny glass bottles (1/3rd of a pint ?), and later, my kids had it in small cartons. My late dad's last job was as a school caretaker..........all the surplus milk found its way into our kitchen !4 points

Riflemen with IR scopes and better suppressors, summer hunting, myximatosis, RHVD, cats, foxes, intensive farming with pesticides, pollutants and taking out hedgerows (along with the warrens), taking out cover and boys who just don't know their limits to leave a population. Really in short terms rabbits are f****d4 points

As the Americans say on their hunting videos “fur down “ or as the English say and I prefer “got the b*****d “ !!! I wish dear THL friends that I could regale you all with a tale of how I outwitted the elusive vulpine with my skill and cunning, or even with the use of my caller with some obscure sound . But the reality is that I drove into a field near the scene of his crime and there it was eating something. I’d spotted it with my thermal and this time it hung around long enough to get set up for a shot . And that was it .3 points

You say your dog is fed on raw meat, but you don't say what else. Muscle meat alone is not a balanced diet. You need to think 'whole carcase', with a small percentage of bone, offal and roughage in the form of vegetables and maybe a slice of brown bread. To say that dogs need carbs depends a lot on the type of dog. I always found that my Saluki lurchers needed carbs to maintain good condition, whereas some Collie types do not, though if they're working regularly very hard it does help to keep them with enough meat on their bones. Fat is what most dogs use for energy, not carbs, though their g3 points

An unelected committee creates the rules for sovereign nations and excludes any that don't follow them in the name of diversity. Let that sink in for a minute. There are people actively pushing for a second referendum and I'm sure if that one doesn't work they'll push for a best out of three. If your own nation won't honour the results of a democratic process then where will you draw the line?2 points

Get at it, nothing messes up a good drive like a ginger, we had one run out on a drive on Saturday and we have a strict nothing on the ground rule, as there’s a lot of different abilities shooting, so then we have the customary abuse off the fox control lad ( me ) everyone joins in just to make me feel special2 points

Still early days but so far I am really liking it. I can confirm that it is accurate but there again I would have been seriously surprised had it not been after all it is a Weihrauch. My wife, Trish, was keen to try to shoot with the Nitesite fitted because she fancies having a crack at the rats, she doesn't know yet that there is mud and cow shite all over the place.........................anyway, I picked up a selection of used 12, 20 & 28 gauge cartridges and laid them on their sides at 25mts. I popped the table to the edge of the veranda of lodge we are staying in and with the bi2 points

When the judge said how much do you want for travelling expenses I said well I put £60 worth of diesel in this morning and I should be able to get back on that . He said we pay 45 pence per mile you traveled 200 miles here so that’s a 400 mile round trip so that’s £180 . I looked at the owner as his head went down and thought “ I wouldn’t mind doing this every week”!!!???2 points

one pup will always come on better than the other, and you will put more into that one, and the other will suffer, if you don't do that, and you put more time into the backward pup the other will suffer, one pup at a time, you don't need two, you just want two, big mistake.2 points

I'v not been on here for years but just wanted to see how bad it really is everywhere concerning the collapse of rabbit numbers. 8-9 years ago a friend who works on a big farm estate on the Herts cambs boarders came to see me... Fetch your dogs n ferrets on here as much as you like and john's farms over run with them I'll get you on there too!!! That year my friend Richard who got me on that land, shot... and I will admit he's a great shot 160 rabbits cutting a corn field at harvest as they ran from the combine. This year he shot 2! I had a great season taking decent number1 point

Took dear old Dusty for her last walk today...? I was gifted this good-hearted pup, from a guy that in reality, I hardly knew. I traveled from my home in Hampshire to a Welsh Valley and collected her... She was a super friendly pup and fitted into our lifestyle, no problem. She served me well, for nine long years, we had some good times, caught vanloads of game and enjoyed plenty of laughs,... I am sad to say goodbye ... Alas, the Big C has no mercy and seems to enjoy inflicting horrendous pain.? I feel privileged to deny this heartless monster it's perverse en1 point

Took a quick trip out on Friday morning with the boy to grab a couple of bunnies for the pot asaa favour for a close friend. Not a bad morning, gave my vas hob his first workout for the year and he did his thing very well in a large warren that is easy to lose bunnies in when the ferrets are in there working solo.1 point
