Talk of the government getting the taxpayer to bail them out. We already bailed the bank's out and for the past decade we have had public services cut to the bare minimum and more cuts happen every week. While these directors are still getting million + salaries basically paid by the taxpayer. Government are very good at dishing out our cash that is meant to run our nation not for there old mates who God forbid me mght lose their jobs. However unlike the ordinary bloke even if they did they are sitting on a fortune they can retire comfortable. we live in a capatilst country and we s6 points

On my permissions things are quiet right now so I tend to just train Kaiser and walks. A farm about a mile away has rape growing and pigeons are plentiful there but this particular farmer lets no one shoot - period, so the pigeons are never shot at and settled. Anyways whilst walking and watching my grounds I`ve picked up on the times the wood pigeons lift and disperse to differing areas/ trees over on my grounds 11 am for a good hour onwards and then 2-30 pm for a few late to feed. If I had not been out late5 points

Heard today that the former WBA forward had passed away after a short illness at the weekend. He was part the great team that Atkinson put together in the late 70s early 80s. A big, bustling, fast centre forward with a good peg on him, known as one of the Three Degrees, him, Cunningham and Batson. Aged into his late 50s, I enjoyed watching him5 points

Our annual trip up the west coast was a productive affair this year. We were informed that woodcock were in short supply this year and we should show restraint.........well they weren't where we were and we didn't ..............The usual spots held good numbers of birds and with the dogs working hard we managed to squirt a few down and put a bag together. By the end of the first day the dogs were knackered. its really hard going for them working in the bracken and briars. The second morning we were up at 6am to flight duck on the foreshore, there is normally plenty of teal around at this4 points

The clouded leopard escape seems like it could be legit to me, you've got the council confirming there's a DWA license holder in the area who keeps clouded leopards and the local police confirming that the owner reported an escape and that the animal was recaptured after reports of sheep being attacked, can't see any real reason to doubt it? It is a bit surprising there isn't any pictures of it in the trap but then again I know farmers who don't even own a camera or smartphone so maybe he didn't have the means to take a picture?4 points

Personally I wouldn't trust one of these 'vigilantes' that operates so publicly as far as I could throw them. What we're talking about here isn't full on Dark Knight vigilantism, it's the more legal kind of private and voluntary police force, the trial and sentencing is still done by the justice system. The problem I have with it is they do their investigation, then confront the accused all on video shouting and raving in the street, post it all over FB and hand their collection of evidence to the police for due process/trial etc. The public, through FB, immediately label the accused a paedop4 points

Having been to three carribean islands in the last year and three African countries numerously the last ten , I can confirm that trump was on the money . A swift weekend away for the liberals to downtown nairobi or nanyuki with their families should quell any discrepancies about shitholes https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2000210905/kenya-army-takes-over-roads-to-stem-terror-attacks https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.independent.co.uk/news/world/africa/woman-wedding-no-show-gang-rape-kenya-nairobi-her-name-africa-marriage-sexual-assault-violence-a7816011.html%3famp ab4 points

Yes Neil this dog is a handy little animal and as good a digging dog there is anyone would have him in their kennels ....out of DCs Jim .....I noticed when he was a pup he was a natural retriever and alway carried something in his mouth a trait from his sire I was told . I like to have all my dogs to as good a level as I can get them training wise and he was very easy to train but as a pup but I didn’t get on with him as he was sulky and unsociable but once he started working and he had a purpose he changed pretty much over night .... As Neil says I nearly lost him last season while4 points

Out on the doe’s again this morning , mild ,damp with a very slight north westerly ..working through the lower wood and bank we had only been going twenty minutes and the dog stopped , nose in the air ,stretching her head up she was almost lifting her front legs , a clear sign she could sent the deer . A full ten minutes we stood there , she never moved forward but just kept her head high scenting all the time , I for the life of me couldn’t see them or it ..finally I see the head of a deer poking out from behind a tree , no distance 40 metres at most it just stood motionless another five minu3 points

Why the f#*k are these not on the pest control list? I watched a flock a seagulls on a field today munching away (what are they eating?) Ive also seen them eat a duck chick, push a buzzard off a kill and harrass song birds. Am i just picking on the seagull, i dont know, but they are a bird i really do not like. Almost arragant. Rant over, what are your thoughts please FF3 points

Chris's comment on attitudes is something that is fairly well noted and you probably didn't realise it but your comment on guns is a classic example. In the UK we want the government to do everything for us in exchange for payment (tax), in the US they want the government to provide them with the minimum necessary to sort their own shit out on an individual and community level. That IS half the reason they hold 2A so dearly, it is their ability to protect themselves, they don't want to have to rely on the government to do that.3 points

Mr. Finn? Well yeah, that's a female Downy, and the other is one of our Red tailed Hawks. Below is a Red Bellied Woodpecker. Male I think.3 points

You can only piss with the dick you've got, if you've got hard terriers then work them accordingly, in the right sort of place. What's a man to do should his stock suddenly breed hard terriers ? Should he shoot the lot and try someone's inferior stock ? Or should he shut the f**k up and keep his head down until the said terrier changes its ways through work and education ! The lads that take pictures of heavily worked dogs do themselves no good and they certainly don't help the situation we're all in now............ leave the memories in your head and put your camera away3 points

I'm Ewan McGregor.......... Ted lacks what most of us take for granted. Ted has to travel many miles to find his favourite soft drink. Every day his search takes him further from home, but he only finds the precious liquids once or twice a year. All Ted wants is a bottle of pop, from the Alpine man........but he has to settle for Mountain Dew or Dr. Pepper - drinks that could make him sick............how would you feel, if this was your family ? But it doesn't have to be this way - just one extra can, will transform Ted's life. Next time you buy soft drinks, buy an extra can, for Te3 points

Best fox dog I ever owned was a little red bitch that at the start of every season was to rough for her own good but would settle after three are four digs would still be mute but worked them with a better style, in six seasons I never seen her rag a fox above the sod, she'd barely give it a sniff. Never judge an earth dog by how it behaves above ground judge it by how it behaves below.3 points

Thought f**k work let's go ferreting, a few calls and a decent little team was put together, White Van Man and my mate Micky plus their dogs, a bucket full of ferrets, all the nets you may (or probably may not) need... and we were on! ive said tons of times on here we don't take it too seriously and being out, having a laugh, watching the dogs, taking the piss is far more important than the haul at the end... today was no different, and once we had marvelled at the 5 peacocks in the tree over our head and the other 10 on the farm roof ( watching these things fly is a surreal way to start2 points

You must have some sort of management running a firm with multi million pound GOVERNMENT blue chip contracts on the books and still can’t make it pay ..There must be some serious sized snouts at the trough ...2 points

I used to work for a compàny within a group of companies that got bought out by Amec. They couldn't organise a puiabrewery. After a while the whole thing capsised and everyone from the tea boy to the md was made redundant. I noticè that the same old verbal corporate patter is still being trotted out. There should be mandatory qualifications with strict controls and penalties for anyone supposedly running companies. It can really wreck people's lives.2 points
