  3. Tomo, yes, they were wonderful times as we had youth on our side, however, age get's everyone in the end. The place you took David was a great place for Rabbits, not ideal to the sandy conditions, no matter what type of ground it is one has to first of all dig it out and then finally once again back -fill the place almost like you've never been there. However, to hunters and the trained eye it's a somewhat simple process to locate a certain warren that has been dug. "On the second occasion going to the same old place, but unfortunately not has profitable unlike the first occasion. "That's when

The reason prosecutions are up in the north, is because it's really hard to prove that 4 lads accidently crashed through a farm gate in a four X four catapulting a pair of bull X,s out the widow which just happened to land behind a hare and kill it while there mate miraculously was stood by the gate filming the whole incident on his phone, were as one bloke walking his dog,s on public footpath,s accidentally gets on a deer or a hare and is really sorry and upset about it is very hard to convict, as is a group of men/women following a drag scent when there dogs accidently get off after a real

  6. It's like banging my head against a brick wall trying to explain this to people.... .....we don't want the free vote as we can't win it. We can have the vote if we want but hunting organisations have said no please don't. It's not Teresa mays fault......she doesn't have a magic wand. Hunting was banned democratically by a free vote.....if we had a Conservative majority we could have had another vote. TM wasn't a hunting person but she still supported us, she didn't have to. Some people struggle to understand parliamentary democracy......they think the PM is like a 15 century Queen

  11. Hello Tomo, you old rascal! Didn't we have some great times, especially Ferreting? I can remember you and DAVID going down to your parents house in Suffolk and David had those excellent working Polecat Ferrets. I think you both accounted for 50 or 60 Rabbits on that particular occasion; very good for 2 people! David remembers the day with great fondness and the hospitality from your parents. Wonderful food and Whisky. However, David was hospitalised in (2007), spending 8 months in hospital. "He told myself how he survived the ordeal of which consisted of 3 important factors. 13. Try this mathematical film test. It's pretty amazing. Mine turned out to be "Jaws". I was surprised how this worked. This test will predict which of the 18 films listed below is your favourite. Don't ask me how, but it really works! Don't cheat and look at the film list till you have done the maths! Here goes... Film Test: Pick a number from 1-9. Multiply by 3. Add 3. Multiply by 3 again. Now add the two digits together to find your predicted favourite film in the list of 18 films below. Film List: 1. Gone With The Wind 2. E.T.

  30. Well I had planned a good afternoons sport on a perm I haven't visited since mid November but the van wouldn't start and her indoors needed the car so I had to wait for her to return. This meant just a couple of hours on there instead but I've not been out in a while so anything is better than nothing! The perm in question was riddled with mixy last year so I stayed off for a bit and the numbers have come back nicely and no signs of the disease anywhere.......yet. It was a quick wander round the wooded boundary with nothing within range but I saw a few bolting for cover after they he

  32. Few years back but did this fella ever get any of his dogs back? Bad carry on that, someone stealing another mans dogs is one thing but these stolen dogs don't vanish into thin air! They go somewhere and someone or people have them and they're just as bad as the thief in my eyes. There was a dog stolen from a friend of mine a long time ago now but we got the dog back lucky enough, best thing about it was his friend was the one had the dog taken. Too many scumbags about any wonder most men move in small circles.

  34. While I agree with everything you've posted here I contest the reasons hunting prosecutions are up. They're up because idiots document their crimes and have little discretion. As has been discussed in the other thread the future favours the stealthy! Hopefully! You can't fix broken. You have to replace broken! I agree with this in principle but before any of the public sector get the money we need to sort out their ability to serve and their accountability when they do. Throwing money at them would be like asking a heroin addict to self-regulate their consumption.

  39. Vote for individual candidates that reflect your views. Your mp is there to represent you. Find one you agree with most and support him or stand yourself. All this tories are evil shite is just buying into the game of a two party system. There are some fantastic tory mps, even some great Labour ones. I keep saying it, but it's no use complaining, it is democracy and we are getting what we vote for.....we are being directed by the media and people are buying these stories. The hunting issue is a perfect example....if you believe the tories have let us down with it then please do tel

  42. Hello Barrie, hoping you are keeping just fine. I read your short article regarding your experiences and the wonderful friendship you had with (Bert Gripton) and enjoyed reading your article due to the true facts that existed at the time concerning your friendship with Bert. My brother and myself also experienced some wonderful times with Bert and of course the knowledge he had not just of the quarry of which he hunted, but also regarding not just the working Terrier, but many other breeds of dogs also. His knowledge was a somewhat bottomless pit and I can remember him on one occasion when I s
