Guest Lurcherbitch
A friend of mines dog has just been shot . the circumstances are a f*****g rediculus, the dog was lost a week or so ago, she is a english mastiff. She escaped as she was in season & being moved to a mnew home. the police ,dog warden ect had been notified. the media are saying she was a dangerous dog and she had bitten an oap. bullshit, she had just snaped at the owners mother, because she was cornerd and panicked. He got in touch with the police for help, there reaction was to get helicopters plus armed response unit and shoot his dog . They would not let him any where near the dog, to try catch it. They would not let dog warden or owner of dog be involved, in the close captcher of her.. So if you read papers or here news about a poor english mastiff being shot, it is no fault of that poor dog, its the f*****g police over reacting. The guy is looking for advice, ie soliciters ect, can anyone help?. The area is stanley county durham.xx

This dog was not a dangerouse dog, just a lost confused dog that didnt stand a chance against the police. Dave the dog warden offerd to go in and get FREYA but the police said no way and just shot her, once in the chest and once in the head . It has been on the local news. Guest Lurcherbitch
Its on the news now.....the police said its been on the loose for 3 weeks. No witnesses said it was dangeous and on allotment holder said he saw it in his garden. Funny how the BBC said "the people we spoke to were terrified"....why did we not see these interviews. Cant believe they had a helicopter and police driving around with marksmen on top of their cars.... Thanks Nikey.xx
