Guest Ditch_Shitter
I'd imagine this is one for ye Gunnie, mate? Obviously, Any air rifle made for the uk market will (Should) have been screwed down to the legal requirements. Though I'm not personally aware of any Irish air rifle makers. This is an intriguing area of question. My mate, Dean O' R, recently bought an air rifle - Irish FAC in hand, obviously - and no one, from start to finish, really knew what it might be putting out. I'll be watching this one with interest myself. Hope ye get some proper answers Quote Link to post
feeble 0
i didnt know you guys over in ireland had to have a fac even for sub 12ft/lbs . Now i might be wrong (and probably am), but im sure .177 airguns dont go too well at high ft/lbs. The airarms tx series can be tuned to the low 20's my best mate had and old one running at 18.5 ftlbs, the Weihrauch hw80 can also be tuned to fac levels without to much bother Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
Most of the top brands in the industry are available in FAC. It's just a case of picking out a gun that you like and seeing if it can be tuned and supplied to you, in accordance with your local firearms laws. Quote Link to post

slickdicko 0
ANY WEBLEY WITH A OX SPRING AND LOADS OF TWO PENCE COINS WITH A LOT OF PATIENCE .... Quote Link to post
Elmerfudd 5
Webley Patriot or Theoben Eliminator both go 40ft/lbs as springers. .177 will be kack tho as putting pellets supersonic causes no end of accuracy issues. My Career 707 went 75ft/lbs with 30grn Eley Magnums in .22 and was as flat as you like out to 70- yds. Quote Link to post
