rabbit slayer 22
Just wondering if anyone has seen or owned a springer spaniel x grayhound or whippet. As spaniels have excellent scenting ability, soft mouthed and retrieve naturally. I would be interested to see any pics people may have of one and what they were like. HAPPY HUNTING RS Quote Link to post

leighton 0
My nans got a 3/4 greyhound collie hancock bred dog x springer bitch that i think would have been a good ferreting, mooching dog. It never worked just a pet but im quite sure some of the litter it came from went to working homes, i'll try and get a pick up of her for you Edited November 12, 2006 by leighton Quote Link to post

leighton 0
Crap picture but all i have at the moment the bitch stands about 20 at the shoulder and is a quite a racey dog being a first cross, shes caught a few squirrels and rabbits out and about but never been out proper hunting more of accidental catches, shame i think she would have made a good ferreting bitch.
