Rory4 267 Posted October 20, 2008 Report Share Posted October 20, 2008 cheers Irish Lurcher just got my first pup so this is helpful! be good if more people with experience shared it! a collie x. had her from 6 weeks is now 8 & half weeks taught sit, down & retrieve already! also been using torch in garden with hers toys since got her starting to no what torch is for now! with hand signals she will be able to see in field from a fair distance away! do you use a dog whistle for commands aswell? whats your dog like with water? if good how you help it go in? Rory4, I started her when she was pup, would always bring her to the beach, as its so close to my house. I would walk alon the shore line and she would follow, simple really.
