the positives are 110% commitment extremely fast and

agile and at 24inches and 50 pounds more than a match for

any british quarry with the exception of red deer if properly bred they should

have bags of stamina wouldent match a saluki cross on the fens or a bull cross on

fox but as a pot filler hard to beat

negatives they are prone to injury and dont particulary

like wet weather :victory:

I've got a First cross Whippet, Greyhound. 100% whatever he's at the back of. I'm sure there's a pic of him on one of my threads. I would say there one of the old school Lurchers.

i asked this on a previous post about whippet x grey's , but didnt get an answer , so ill try again :

what would whippet x grey's been like * PRE BAN* game , mainly hares , fox , what was turning like? attitude's towards the work? light grafters or give 100% , i know a dog is what you put into it and how its brought on , but the whippet/grey in genreal , what are they like PRE BAN ..

:victory:

Had a top class one, lighting quick, and used to pick up rabbits effortless. Had passion for deer and once shown the way did fox on his own. Only problem i have is that i compare every dog to him .!!! My experiance is that if kept trim you can keep injuries down, but run un fit and they'll certainly get knocked up!
