Good pics, good to hear he gets to stretch his legs abit aswell.

What age will he be before he is fully trained?

id say 2 1/3 to three years old althought these dogs are so intelegent they learn every day,hes gonna be a companion/guard dog rather than an attack dog, however the training has to be inniciated!!! it helps that they know the stop command!!! :icon_redface:

I dont know anything about guard dogs realy apart from that they'll bring you down if they catch you on their land lol.

I'm guessng the difference between a companion guard dog and an Attack dog is maybe a companion guard dog will act on its owners orders and an Attack dog will go on it own initiative?

Would that be right or completely wrong? lol

ur right to an extent but an attack dog should only go on command! they should also stop instantly when ordered to as well!!!

Never had any actual contact with this breed buts its one thats had me facinated. After reading up on 'em an watchin a few bits on my pc I recon these dogs could be well worth consideration for lurcher breeding. They have a hell of a prey drive, when they hit they hit hard, always wired with sound conformation. GSD crosses are making an apperance again, Heart of Wales has bred a very good litter, he's got good GSD's. These things come in lighter boned than GSD's which should help with lurcher breeding, though findin the right stuff could be difficult and costley.

I hate the term "attack dog". It conjours up images of untrained dangerous dogs. Protection trained dogs should be social and able to interact with people safely. This is one of my dogs coming for the sleeve.
