Bullcat 12
I`ve just done a breeding of a Border Collie x Greyhound (1st cross) and I was just wondering if anyone has this first cross and if so, can you please post up a photo of your dog on here to give me a rough idea of what they look like and the variations. skycat 6,174
Hi BC. If you want to see what commercially bred Collie/Greys look like, have a Google of Hancock lurchers. They are the only large scale commercial lurcher breeders in the UK. Love 'em or loathe 'em, there is certainly a variation among his dogs, but he does use Beardie studs as well. Plenty of people have home bred Collie/Greys. Have you heard of a forum called Collie Curs? Its a site dedicated to Collie lurchers. http://www.colliecurs.co.uk/index.php?sid=817a0f9f603eaf3515783045ad47dede Quote Link to post
Guest born to run1083
I have a first x bred from a hill collie as the dam and grey as the sire, she's 23tts only a pup so can't comment on working ability just yet but early signs are ok. Someone might be able to post a pic of her off another topic for me on here as I struggle to keep uploading them. Quote Link to post

STUNTMAN 552
I've only had one litter, mostly I've bred 3/4 to 3/4. I was given a cattle collie as a pup from Uphill on here and had a bitch NGA track dog out of Gable Dodge that never when to the track but was raised loose at my farm and was a self hunter. Jonny the collie was one of the best hunting dogs I've ever had he was a machine. I bred the two and had a bunch of pups here are some pics. Steadymob on here has a male and that is all i know of alive. Looking back i wish i would have kept better track of them. The one i kept blew her from shoulder out before she reached a year.
